She rose to prominence playing Fiona Gallagher on the first two seasons of the UK TV series Shameless. The Virgin Queen (2006) featured her as queen Elizabeth as Queen Elizabeth in The Virgin Queen, and she also performed the principal part from From Darkness (2015). The filmography of Duff includes Enigma (2001), The Magdalene Sisters and The Notes of Scandal (2006) French Film (2007) The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before I Go to Sleep (2014) and Suffragette 2015.
